The Ditchley Foundation is a UK Registered Charity (no 309657). It operates primarily through revenues derived from the original endowment established by Sir David Wills in 1958 together with a small amount of income earned from the hire of Ditchley Park and the generous donations of individuals, trusts and foundations. With current annual running costs of around £1.4m, the Foundation receives no core funding from any government, thus ensuring its independence. It therefore needs your help to make sure that it continues to provide the space and opportunity for independent high level wide-ranging and open discussion on issues of global significance.
All gifts and donations contribute towards the costs involved in delivering the conference programme, providing travel bursaries for participants and engaging in outreach activities to raise the profile of the Foundation. There is also a separate Fabric Fund to support the general maintenance and upkeep of Ditchley Park, an historic house in its own right.
There are several ways you can support The Ditchley Foundation:
Send a donation by post – please contact us about how to do this.
If you would like to support the work of the Foundation in a more substantial way or discuss donating towards a specific project or field of work, please contact Katie Williams, Communications Officer, The Ditchley Foundation, Ditchley Park, Enstone, Chipping Norton, OX7 4ER. Telephone: +44 (0)1608 677346 or email email@example.com.
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation for free through Gift Aid.
All donors will be acknowledged, thanked and listed in our Annual Report and on the website unless you prefer to remain anonymous. For major donors we offer opportunities to endow specific projects and programmes eg refurbishing specific rooms, digitising the archives, greening our working practices and sponsoring elements of the conference programme.
