Mrs Roosevelt Flies to London - a fundraising event

Published: Tuesday, 8th March 2016

Mrs Roosevelt Flies to LondonWe are delighted that Alison Skilbeck has agreed to bring her one woman show, "Mrs Roosevelt Flies to London", to Ditchley Park on Saturday 9th April for another in our series of fundraising events in support of the Fabric Fund.

"Mrs Roosevelt Flies to London", explores the public and hidden life of one of the most extraordinary women of the 20th century. The performance, which has been adapted especially for the Great Hall at Ditchley Park, is the result of extensive research by Alison Skilbeck and reference to Eleanor’s writings following special permission by the Roosevelt estate.

The 75 minute performance will be preceded by a drinks reception in the White Drawing Room, with seasonal canapés prepared in-house by the Ditchley chef. It promises to be a wonderful evening’s entertainment in the beautiful surroundings of Ditchley Park.
